This course is aimed at physiotherapists and occupational therapists who work with patients with Spinal Cord Injuries, outside of Regional SCI centres.
The Introduction to Spinal cord injury therapy course will be a 2 days course covering:
- Aetiology of Spinal Cord Injury
- Broad aims of rehab and managing patient expectations.
- Specialist treatment modalities across OT and Physio.
The course will include both theoretical and practical elements, managing the patient journey from injury to discharge.
Venue : The Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital. SY10 7AG. Refreshments & lunch are included.
