We are delighted to announce this brand new course to The Orthopaedic Institute’s Calendar. Convened by Dr Chadi Rakieh.
A unique one-day interactive course dedicated to osteoporosis. A focus on the patient’s journey from referral to treatment and monitoring. Aimed for primary care clinicians and AHPs dealing with osteoporotic patients on regular basis.
A strong faculty with a wide range of expertise covering the following topics:
Diagnosis and management of osteoporosis
One hour session on reading bone density scan (DXA)
Monitoring response and interpretation of bone turnover markers
Managing patients on parenteral therapy and a guide to calcium and vitamin D replacement
Case discussions from real world practice
Q&A sessions so you can bring along your clinical cases and have your questions answered
Networking and tour of metabolic department
