Our first modular Webinar for GPs and AHPs takes place in October

Our first Webinar, the next in our popular series of Orthopaedic Study days convened by Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Stuart Hay,  is entitled MSK Presentation in Primary Care – How Can we Help? and will be delivered as 3 evening modules in October.  Designed for delivery to GPs, GP Trainees and Allied Health Professionals, the course will cover:

  • Management of acute Spinal Pain
  • MSK Tumour Presentation
  • Children’s Orthopaedics
  • Acute Rheumatology
  • The painful hip
  • The Acute Sports Knee
  • Shoulder Pain

and will be delivered by Mr Stuart Hay, Mr Sarfraz Ahmad, Professor Paul Cool, Mr Nigel Kiely, Dr Ayman Askari, Mr Rob Banerjee and Mr Pete Gallacher.    Full information including how to book a place is available by clicking here.

These courses are exceptionally popular and usually have a limit on numbers who can attend but, because this will be delivered by Webinar, there is no upper limit.  Previous such study days have also been delivered by eminent Consultants from within the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital and covered subjects such as “Common Conditions: Current Treatment”, “A Modern Review of Some Old Chestnuts”, “A comprehensive approach to sports injuries” amongst other interesting topics.

Alongside these Orthopaedic Study days, GPs, GP Trainees and Allied Health Professionals can also take advantage of the series of other clinical Study Days presented by Dr Fiona Hay (GP Much Wenlock and Cressage Medical Practice, Clinical Lecturer in Medical Education Keele) and the regular Joint Injection Courses also run by Mr Stuart Hay.  You can register your interest in these and other courses by clicking here and searching for courses appropriate to you.
