Oswestry Christmas Lights Switch On!

The Orthopaedic Institute Charity were thrilled to be part of this years  Oswestry Christmas Lights Switch On celebrations.

The Oswestry Town Council hosted a fabulous Christmas Lights Switch On, on Thursday 18th November which was so well attended we thought our little charity stall would be swept away by the very enthusiastic crowds.  The Bailey Head was packed with hundreds of people eager to join in and enjoy the start to Christmas 2021.

There were stalls and refreshments for all to enjoy and amongst the many entertainers on stage were the “Orthopaedic Male Voice Choir” and Gold Medal Olympian Oliver Townend who was joined by several other super hero’s including Buzz Light Year to help turn on the Christmas lights.

Pictured on the Orthopaedic Institute Charity stall are Ann Boulton – Charity Volunteer, Vicky Edwards – Course Organiser, Mayoress Ruth Jones, Mayor Councillor Mark Jones,  Debbie Alexander – Charity Fundraiser and Eric Evans – Charity Chairman.
